The guarantee of a high-performance packaging often involves the use of a precise number of Desiccant Bags together with a Laminated Barrier Pouch
The joint use of these products allows for the creation of an environment with controlled relative humidity, guaranteeing the maintenance of the properties/quality of the packaged goods and preserving them from oxidative phenomena, mold and other alterations.
Desiccant Bags are designed to absorb the water vapor present in the air when the package is closed and that which permeates through the coupled barrier (especially for long-lasting packages).

DESERT Desiccant bags are produced in compliance with the regulations
MIL D 3464 E - NF H 00321
and are also certified to standard
DIN 55473 : 2015
with the following registration numbers
Complete range: from sachets to large bags
The formats are expressed in UD - Desiccant units
In dehydrating applications, the reference unit of measurement is the UD which expresses the absorbent power of the bag.
Since the quality of the desiccant products is closely linked to the absorption performance, it is essential to always refer to the UD of the bag and not to the weight in grams of the desiccant material contained.
The casing of the Desiccant Bags is made of non-woven fabric, a material that allows the absorption of water vapor inside the bag. Depending on the amount of dust that can be released from the bag, two classes of casings are distinguished (in accordance with the DIN 55473 standard)
TnT type A
Low dust emission
Indicated for the protection of
goods not particularly
sensitive to dust
less than 10 mg of powder for each DU
TnT type B
Perfect dust tight
Indicated for protection
of goods highly
sensitive to dust
(e.g. pharmaceuticals and electronics).
less than 1 mg of powder regardless of the number of UD
Particular TnT type B produced by DuPont
Advantages of Tyvek®:
